Interview de Corentin de Chatelperron, ingénieur et navigateur
Le 13 février dernier, sur les rives de la Bangshi, je rencontrai Corentin de Chatelperron, un ingénieur de 26 ans qui s'apprêtait à embarquer à bord du petit bateau de pêche conçu dans les chantiers Tara Tari de l'ONG Friendship avec l'aide du prestigieux cabinet d'architecture navale VPLP pour une traversée de 6 mois qui le mènera du Bangladesh à la France.
La particularité de ce bateau est d'être un prototype fabriqué en fibre de verre et en jute, une innovation visant à rendre les bateaux plus solides, moins chers et plus écologiques. Il est le prototype de bateaux destinés à être fabriqués en série pour les pêcheurs de la baie du Bengale régulièrement touchés par le mauvais temps et les cyclones, et naviguant sur des bateaux peu sûrs et couteux...

Interview with Thupstan Chhewang, leader of Ladakh Union Territory Front
In December 2009, I met the leader of the Ladakh Union Territory Front (LUTF), which controls the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council - Leh, and demands union territory status for Ladakh, that is Leh and Kargil district.
I met Thupstan Chhewang in a tent, where he was agitating with other members of LUTF (both Buddhists and Muslims) for a 3 days protest in Leh while submitting a memorandum to the president of India to obtain the Union Territory.

Interview with Amirul Rajiv, photographer and artist
The first time I met Amirul Rajiv, we went to Old Dhaka to take some snapshots and sound recordings of monkeys. Amirul Rajiv, who is photo editor for the daily newspaper The Daily Star in Dhaka, is also a photographer, an artist and a key person for the 1 square mile project taking place in Old Dhaka as well as in Modhurpur forest. The interview was taken there, outside of Dhaka, between two workshops with the local Mandi (also called Garo) people.
In the first part of the interview, he explain his relation to Modhurpur forest, the various issues and difficulties met by the Mandi people and the artist workshop there.

Interview with photographer and documentarist Molla Sagor
At the eve of the Bangladesh Language Day (Ekushey February or 21. February) I met Molla Sagor in Ramna Park to talk about his work, the role of documentaries to raise awareness on social and cultural issues, the evolution of the Bangladeshi society and the importance of native culture and folk songs in Bangladesh nowadays.

"Retour du Bangladesh" une émission spéciale de Radio Escapade
Parti presque deux mois au Bangladesh avec l'association danoise Svalerne en février et mars dernier, je livre ici pour escapade, la radio francophone de Copenhague, mes impressions et expériences ramenées du pays des milles rivières. Il sera question de condition des femmes, d'aide juridique aux plus démunis, de culture populaire, de patrimoine oral et musical et de créativité des artistes qui puisent dans ce fond culturel avec une ouverture aux sons et questions d'aujourd'hui.

Arnob, a prominent musician from Dhaka
In March 2009, I met Arnob in Dhaka, Bangladesh, one of the most talented musician of his generation. Arnob started a successful career 10 years ago with Bangla Band and its lead singer Anushe and instrumentist Buno (2 albums). As a solo artist he produced three albums Chaina Bhabish, Hok Kolorob and Doob (you can visit his myspace here) and a number of film soundtracks, such as the recent and very popular Monpura. He also produced a great number of other singers' album, from the very popular Momtaz to the upcoming Krishnokoli or the younger Laura.
His last project was an album with the jazz musician and awarded pianist Zoe Rahman, based in England.

Grønlandsk kreative unge / Greenlandic creative youth / Des jeunes groenlandais créatifs
Sounds of Greenland er en kakofonisk rundrejse i unge grønlænderes drømme og fremtidsvisioner – for dem selv og for nationen.
Sounds of Greenland is a radio documentary in Danish with English subtitles about Greenlandic creative young people.
Sounds of Greenland est un reportage radiophonique en danois sous-titré en français sur les projets créatifs et les rêves de jeunes groenlandais:
Lars er musiker, Martin er danser, Ujarneq laver kortfilm og tegneserier og Anemarie er skuespiller. Fælles for dem er, at de tilhører den kreative del af Grønlands unge generation – en del af de unge, der normalt ikke finder vej ind i de danske medier.
I sommer 2008 drog jeg rundt i Grønland med båndoptageren tændt. Fra Tasiilaq på østkysten til Sisimiut og Nuuk på vestkysten indfangede jeg mødet med en del af det slægtled, der skal føre landet videre.
