Interview with photographer and documentarist Molla Sagor

At the eve of the Bangladesh Language Day (Ekushey February or 21. February) I met Molla Sagor in Ramna Park to talk about his work, the role of documentaries to raise awareness on social and cultural issues, the evolution of the Bangladeshi society and the importance of native culture and folk songs in Bangladesh nowadays.



The interview is 21 min. long. During the interview we can listen to Bally Sagoo, Arnob, Bangla, The Garos of Madhupur forest, a young boy recorded by Deben Bhattacharya and the Bauls of Bengal.
